It’s official, Singapore’s Changi Airport is ranked the best in the world according to Airport Awards 2013, a renowned survey conducted by Skytrax aviation research organization.
Every year, travelers from over 160 countries take part in the world’s largest, independent airport passenger satisfaction survey with over 12 million people taking part in 2013. Passengers are asked to rank the world’s airports in around 40 categories, from ease of transit to shopping and security. The comprehensive survey, now in its 14th year did not place any American Airport in the top 10.
Changi (rated second in 2012) beat South Korea’s much-awarded Incheon International and Amsterdam’s Schipol Airports to the overall top spot this year. A well deserved victory for an airport that is always looking ahead.
