What has happened?

DirectAsia is in the process of being bought by digital retail insurer Roojai. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Who are Roojai?

Launched in 2016, Roojai is an established insurance company with a longstanding presence in the region and extensive expertise in the sector. They are currently operating in Thailand and Indonesia.

With this acquisition, Roojai will substantially increase its market share with a combined portfolio of over 400,000 vehicles insured in three countries.

What happens to my policy with you?

This does not affect your existing policy with us; your existing cover is uninterrupted and continuing. We will continue to trade as DirectAsia and offer the same great products and service, so if your insurance needs have changed, we would love to help you – please get in touch.
