They have also been efficient in administering vaccines to the community, compared to other Asian countries. As of 10 June 2021, they have given out over 12.1 million doses, and 2.35 million people have been fully vaccinated. They may be far from achieving herd immunity, but no doubt that they are among the leading countries in Asia when it comes to vaccination.

Aside from their excellent Covid response, South Korea is an excellent travel destination because of its rich culture and history. You can visit the seaside city of Busan, explore the capital mega-city Seoul, the historical city of Gyeongju or perhaps, head to Jeju Island. Whether you’re looking for an exciting city adventure or a time of relaxation in nature, South Korea has a plethora of interesting sights to offer.

It’s also important to note, that, if you plan to travel to South Korea anytime soon with a short-term visitor pass, you will need to provide your results from a Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, showing that you are not infected by and do not carry the corona virus. This test must be done within 72 hours from the time of your departure. You will also need to undergo a 14-day quarantine period upon your arrival at their borders, even if you have been fully vaccinated. Mauritius

Yet another country with low Covid cases is Mauritius. They only have a total of 1,496 reported cases with 18 deaths in total, as of 11 June 2021. Seeing that this country's economy relies heavily on tourism, the Mauritian government aims to reach “herd immunity” as soon as possible with the national vaccination campaign being on track so that tourism can slowly resume (dated 24 March 2021).
