Terms and Conditions

Car and Motorcycle Insurance Promotion

  1. The Promotion is valid until 31 December 2023.
  2. The Promotion is applicable only to VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners who purchase a NEW Comprehensive/Third Party First & Theft car or motorcycle insurance policy underwritten by Direct Asia Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd for a minimum of 12 months (365 days) during the Promotion period.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion details are:
    Product Type of Customer Discount to Be applied at New Business only
    Motor (Comprehensive & TPFT only) VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners Car - $75 eCapitaVoucher
    Motorcycle - $25 eCapitaVoucher
  4. The Promotion is only applicable to new DirectAsia customers who apply the promo code SVCAR75 for car insurance policy or SVBIKE25 for motorcycle insurance policy during check-out.
  5. The Promotion is only applicable to VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners who purchases a new car insurance policy directly from DirectAsia through www.directasia.com and applying the applicable promotion code.
  6. The vehicle to be insured under this Promotion must not be the same vehicle as that insured under any existing DirectAsia car or motorcycle insurance policy held by the policyholder. It must also not have been insured with DirectAsia in the last 30 calendar days.
  7. If an Existing DirectAsia customer purchases a new insurance policy for a different vehicle ("New Vehicle") that is not currently insured by DirectAsia, he/she will be eligible for the Promotion for the New Vehicle.
  8. Each policy sold under the Promotion may only qualify for redemption of one promo code. Multiple redemptions are not permitted.
  9. Qualified customers will receive an email to redeem the eCapitavoucher after twenty-one (21) business days from the policy inception date and no later than thirty (30) business days after the policy inception date.
  10. The eCapitaVoucher redemption link is unique and applicable for one-time use only.
  11. The eCapitaVoucher redemption link will expire 3 months from date of issuance. Any extension will not be allowed. Once credited into your account, the eCapitaVoucher is valid for 12 months.
  12. DirectAsia reserves the right to replace eCapitaVoucher with any other reward of similar value as determined by DirectAsia Insurance.
  13. By providing DirectAsia with the contact details and any other information via DirectAsia Website or Dedicated Hotline, the VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff or Partner gives DirectAsia permission to contact him or her with regards to the insurance quote, policy and/or Offer.
  14. Both DirectAsia and VICOM/SETSCO shall not in any way be held liable in the event a VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff or Partner provides an invalid or incorrect Promo Code to DirectAsia and the corresponding discount is not applied to the policy.
  15. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other ongoing promotions or offers.
  16. This Promotion is strictly not transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other form of currency.
  17. DirectAsia car and motorcycle insurance policies are currently available only to residents of Singapore. DirectAsia reserves the sole right to accept or reject any application for car or motorcycle insurance at the absolute discretion of DirectAsia.
  18. The DirectAsia car lor motorcycle insurance policy inception must occur within 60 days of purchase.
  19. If the qualifying DirectAsia car or motorcycle insurance policy is cancelled by the policyholder or DirectAsia at any time after policy inception for whatever reason, DirectAsia reserves the right to deduct the value of the Promotion from the refunded premium allowed under the policy, if any.
  20. The Promotion details, dates, as well as these terms and conditions may be amended by DirectAsia at any time without prior notice to the customer.
  21. This promotion is not applicable for
    1. SOS car insurance
    2. Staff of DirectAsia and their immediate family.

Travel Insurance Promotion

  1. The Promotion is valid until 31 December 2023.
  2. The Promotion is applicable only to VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners who purchase a NEW annual or single travel insurance policy underwritten by Direct Asia Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd during the Promotion period.
  3. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion details are:
    Product Type of Customer Discount to Be applied at New Business only
    Travel (Annual & Single) VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners 5%
  4. The Promotion is only applicable to new DirectAsia customers only who apply the promo code SVATR5 for annual travel policy or SVSTR5 for single travel policy during check-out.
  5. The Promotion is only applicable to VICOM/SETSCO Corporate Staff and Partners who purchases a new travel insurance policy directly from DirectAsia through www.directasia.com and applying the applicable promotion code.
  6. The customer to be insured under the Promotion must not have a cancelled travel policy with DirectAsia in the last 30 calendar days.
  7. Each policy sold under the Promotion may only qualify for redemption of one promo code. Multiple redemptions not permitted.
